John Deere 48-inch Edge Xtra Mower Deck for X700 Signature Series
Edge Xtra Mower Decks are designed to provide excellent performance and are easily converted between side discharge, mulch, and material collection mode. All X700 Signature Series Tractors require a BM24370 upstop kit to install a 48X Mower.

Mower includes everything needed, including front draft arm assembly, for installation on any X400/X500 Heavy-Duty Garden Tractor or X700 Ultimate Series Tractor.

NOTE: The 48X Mower will not fit X485 Special Edition or X720 Special Edition Tractor because it will interfere with the tractor's front fenders.
NOTE: All 700 Signature Series Tractors (model year 2013 and later) require a BM24370 upstop kit to install a 48X Mower.

The 48-in. (122-cm) Edge Xtra deck provides a high-level of performance:
- The 3-mm deck stamping is designed to handle a large volume of material.
- Gives excellent cut quality and uniform discharge, even in difficult mowing conditions
- The clean design of the deck underside contributes to a complete, even discharge of clippings.
- Mower blade overlap is 1.6 in. (40 mm) for a reduced chance of striping between blades.

Mulching attachment
|

The mulching attachment for the 48-in. (122-cm) Edge Xtra deck provides excellent performance:
- Mulching attachment controls clippings at all three blades.
- Improved mulching and more even distribution of mulched clippings
- Plastic molded part will not rust.
- Mulching attachment is held in place with wing nuts for easy installation.
- Special mulching blades are included.
- Can also be used for side-discharge mowing or with Power Flow™ material collection systems, though overall cut quality may decline slightly.

High-performance Power Flow blower
|
|
|
The 48-in. (122-cm) Edge Xtra deck features a high-performance Power Flow blower:
- Blower is hinged to provide easy installation.
- Blower easily swings out for simple cleanout.
- Blower fan runs in a clockwise direction (viewed from the right side) to efficiently move material up the chute.
- Blower fan is 3-3/4-in. (89-mm) wide for excellent capacity and performance.
The 48C high-performance Power Flow blower works well with either the standard mower blades or the mulching blades. |
