SILKY - Handsaw – Sugoi - Curved Blade
This is a heavy duty 360mm long curved hand saw.
They have used a new technology in the design of the steel.
The steel is a comb of Alloy and Steel which makes this blade very flexible, but at the same time, very strong.
The Sugoi also has a new style of tooth, that is cut with a special blade which leaves a mirror smooth finish on the teeth.
This reduces friction and is part of the reason why this saw is so incredibly fast and easy to use.
An amazing saw that is designed to cut medium to large branches.
The teeth are sharp enable.
The blades are hollow ground to reduce friction and increase easy of cutting action and speed.
The teeth are non-set and have a Mirai-Me design which creates a very smooth surface once timber is cut.
The blades are coated in chrome to reduce rust and protect the blade.
The handle is made from Silkys special GOM material, giving superior grip and reducing vibrations.
The scabbards come with leg straps and can be attached via the leg or by using the belt attachment.
The Sugoi is a PULL saw.
All cutting occurs on the pull stroke.
Put a minimal amount of pressure as you pull the blade toward yourself and then glide the saw forward.
On the forward stroke the teeth will clear of timber or material and then on the pull stroke the saw will do the cutting again.
All parts of the saws are replaceable.
The Sugoi 360mm comes with a scabbard that also has replaceable parts.
This saw comes in a 420mm length as well.
