Thanks to the tool-free adjustable, rigid-guided telescopic shaft and automatic chain tensioning with integrated spring mechanism, the STIHL HTA 30 offers you efficient support when pruning high branches, but also for maintaining hedges and removing dead wood. The chain tension can be quickly and easily adjusted to the optimal tension with minimal interruption to your work, simply by opening and closing the chain sprocket cover. The tensioning lever integrated in the branch hook sets the correct chain tension and as such facilitates quick, tool-free assembly of the cutting attachment after cleaning or chain replacement. The tensioning lever and all other controls of the HTA 30 can also be easily operated while wearing work gloves.
